vw pulley swap?

will the sammy 1.3 crank pulley swap over to the vw 1.6 diesel? i wanna know before i buy a double v pulley thanks guys

Don't think so. Many vw's came with the double v pulley.

thanks my 1.6 out an 81 rabbit only came with a single v. you wouldn't happen to know what years and models with double v pulleys will work?

I think mostly the Jettas and other fancier cars with p/s. I will see if I have an extra I don't need.

Checked but my extra was for a different engine entirely and rusty to boot. Your pulley would have to come from any early VW gas or diesel engine car with power steering. A/c, water pump, and alt. all ran from a single pulley. P/S used a seperate belt and hung under the water pump. The 80's Audi's also used 2 or even 3 v pulley setup as the alternator was setup like a Samurai on the pass. side. (front to rear mounted engine). Hope this helps.
