1.6 intake problems

Ok I just finished up doing the the 1.6 intake change foe EFI. Had everything up and running great, idled like a charm. took it and drove it and almost hit three cars. Came home pulled the power brake hose off while the engine was running and it didn't even flutter a bit. Tried 60psi air into it,and nothing. pulled everything apart again, and found the strangest thing. Now this is supposidly from a 93 Tracker. Unless it's hidden very dam well I can find no opening in the intake for vacum to enter the pb tube. Now the EGR both passages were glogged but flowing now. Has anyone else had this,or am I just the lucky one. Any Ideas anyone?

At the factory once they installed the port nipple in the intake they never opened up the darn thing. No entrance to the vacum chamber at all. So rather than attempt to finish what they started there and talking to Myron who told me of the water jacket there. I drilled out the blind fitting out closer to the head on runners 3&4. Drilled it and tapped it 1/8 pipe installed a 3/8 barbed hose fitting, put it all back together and it works just great.

I'm not sure what you mean. It's from a '90 Tracker 1.6L 8valve.

89-90 EFI 1.6 do not use a computer controlled dist. I'm running a carbed 1.3 dist. per Hawk cams.
