Tricky climb on Rusty Nail, its a series of attempts trying to find the line on this undercut climb.

Kevin ended up having to go wat right on this, his right rear is about 4"s from dropping in a 12' hole

Rusty Nail was a blast!

some serious vertical!

A guy we met at BFE climbing suicide hill.

Hope y'all enjoy the vids this is just some off my camera, kevin has a ton of video from his camera I havnt got to yet,so stay tuned we got a bunch of video for your enjoyment.

Jeff the weather in Moab especially in the spring(when we always go) is sporadic, the storms move out as fast as they come in.We had the best weather this year vs the last two a run down for ya

Sunday: arrive in Moab about 2:00pm wind blowin 20-25 mph gust up to 40-50 mph.went to arches park.

Monday: slightly sunny gorgeous day about mid 60's.

tues: rain at 4:00 am turned to snow till about 7:00am dinked around camp, had breakfast,snow/rain stopped hit the trails about 10:00am rocks are dry, some puddles here and ther.

wends: partly sunny upper 60's

thurs: partly sunny low 70's

Friday: partly cloudy mid 60's

sat: gorgeous sunny day ...headin home.

Didn't get hit with a rain drop on the trail all week,im lucky at picking the right trail for the weather down there,we skirted storm clouds two days and never got hit

That's not too bad. I knew I saw mentioned somewhere that y'all saw some snow at camp, just wasn't sure what that equated to for daytime temps. We'll be taking the youngin along, so might have to look into later April or May (Get those daytime temps to mid 70's)

Rusty Nail,an awesome trail, with many water falls with under cuts and off camber obstucles very fun trail.Best bring a well prepared rig with 37's or bigger.

So we hung out and bs'd while they welded there suspension hanger back on,turned out they where from Wa. also...the west side and we the east side.Cool group of folks and where glad to help them out, they offered $$$ for our help and we all know(or should know) that bad Karma only accept fuel, parts, food or beer on the trail when helping others...my fee was a mountain dew

Ozzy has become a great trail dog.Even he was amazed by the massive quartz boulder in the canyon.

Just some cool pics.

Coming down the Z turn on Moab rim trail,Guys if you run this trail go slow coming down,it don't look like much but every year ive ran this trail theres been a rig crashed on it coming down.Goes real bad real quick up here.

we found this Heep taking a nap 4 people.2 dogs and no one got hurt...very lucky people. So we helped them get turned back over safely and bead there tire back up.

Nice pics and vids. I was seeing if I could recognise any of the trails/obstacles from them, but a lot of what you ran, I didn't.
That Moab Rim trail is a very fun trail. It doesn't look like much, but can be very dangerous, if you don't pick the correct line. The fall off the west side would be a killer (literally) in some places.

I hear DTB and jeffro would like to do Moab also.I say we make a plan and we all get together next spring break and meet up at Moab and wheel are asses off and have the epic week of wheelin together.

I could PM all you guys separate,But lets just lay it out here and make some plans?

Whats going on in my head:My dad has been sick for a while as you know(padders) hes doing well now and is cancer free.I must have said "sure wish dad was hear so he could experience this awesome place before he cant travel anymore"3 times a day I said this.dad aint got a lot of$$ so when I got back this year my first call was to him I offered to pay his gas bill and motel for the moab trip I cant really offord that either but I will make it happen!! I sell shit whatever it takes!

Dad has a 07 fj40 locked front and rear with 33's but does not want to tear it up.So I was thinking I would fix up my sidekick and take it down there next year and just run easy trails and sight see with him.Granted he wont be able to be out on the trail everyday all day,im sure he wouldn't mind just chillin in a chair or walkin the sidewalks of moab enjoying the beauty of it all.

I don't know how serious you guys are about trying to do moab next spring.I know DTB has talked about it and jeff has and now you Chad...you guys are getting me excited! I would love to meet you guys and wheel moab too with y'all.

The fuk is so underpowered to run hiways uphill and needs turn signals/horn/my brake lights are all messed up?? and the 40's are to expensive to beat up on the pavement. So im concidering finding a set of 35's and rims for the fuk,fix all my Utah street legal issues and dropping in a new motor with turbo in the fuk to take care of my horse power issues.Doing this I could go hang with dad and run easy trails with him and still be able to have an appropriate rig to run some gnarlier trails with you guys

Whatcha think? you guy want to make plans and try to pull this off? Im in big time, lets do this!!
